User Management

This section covers the user management related tasks and user account life cycle.

User accounts in Trivore Identity Service can be either real persons or legal entities such as organisations. By default the user accounts are real persons. The user account type can be changed at any time in the Web UI’s user account editor or the Management REST API.

User account life cycle

User accounts can be created using the Management UI or the Management REST API.

User accounts should be fully deleted until it is certain that no user related objects such as contracts or authorisations are no longer needed. There may be some legal requirements on how long those objects must be kept.

User account deletion

User accounts can be deleted immediately or they can be marked for deletion and finally purged after a certain amount of time has passed.
