Application Compatibility (to be deleted)

THE CONTENT IS NOW INCLUDED IN THE OLD PARENT PAGE Application Settings.

Applications can be installed only in compatible devices. Application compatibility is added manually to application, so the applications adder must know the compatible platforms.

If application lacks compatibility with target device, it will not show in the device management application install list.

Application compatibilities can be modified/added when application is added to system, or by editing already existing software.

Dialog will pop-up when using the Edit compatibility button in the application editor.

Compatibilities can be added by selecting platform from left list and pressing >> button (or by double clicking).

Compatibilities can be removed by selecting platform from right list and clicking the << button (or by double clicking).

Remember to save changes by pressing Save & close button.

Note:

You should always ensure application compatibility with each platform before you add them to compatibility list. Using software with incompatible devices can cause redundant data stream.
