Next major release version 4.0 will have stable support for multiple external user directories. The following new user directories will be included (in alphabetical order):

1. Apple ID

2. Facebook

3. Google

4. Microsoft Account (consumer-grade accounts)

5. Microsoft Azure AD

6. MPASSid (OpenID Connect based variant)

7. Trivore ID (Trivore Identity Service, OpenID Connect)

8. Generic OIDC (OpenID Connect)

9. Generic SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language)

The generic user directories add the capability to add corporate private and custom user directories.
