Legacy Mobile Platforms
This section of the documentation contains information on old mobile OS platforms, which are no longer in their prime. These platforms currently include:
Symbian, S80 for OMA DS (SyncML) only
Symbian, S60 2nd edition for OMA DS (SyncML) only
Symbian, S80 3rd edition for OMA DM and OMA DS (yncML)
Nokia Series 40 for OMA DS (SyncML) only
Nokia Asha (technically mostly Series 40) for OMA DS (SyncML) only
Microsoft Windows Phone 7 for EAS management and WSDM diagnostics
Microsoft Windows Phone 8/8.1 for EDM (technically OMA DM) management and WSDM for diagnostics and data synchronisation
Exchange ActiveSync for device management covering myriad hardware and mobile OS platforms such as Maemo, Meego, Blackberry 10
Blackberry 5/6/7 OS for OMA DS (SyncML) data synchronisation
Samsung SEAP/KNOX Android devices with Android earlier than 4.2 for WSDM device management and data synchronisation and Samsung API extensions
It is technically possible to support these platforms to some extent, but usually only at extra cost.
Please note, some of the device platforms listed here are over 15 years old.
