Devices

Devices are the media (mostly cell phones and tablets) that the users sync information with. Only devices that are included in the inventory can be used with DS (data synchronization) and DM (device management) services. They are managed under the Devices section.

The brief lifecycle of a device can be outlined as follows:

1. Add the device using a template

2. Manage the device:
   
   

   1. Organisation manager through the admin portal

   2. Device owner through the self-service portal

3. Remove the device
