Preferences: Personal Tab

In the Personal tab of user preferences, you can add your personal or organisation address.

  • For private (non-organisational) users of the service, this information is in no way mandatory and you can leave it empty.
  • If you have a work account, it may have been pre-filled from your department address.

The address fields should be self-explanatory.

Other fields to note are the following:

Organisational unit

You can select one or more organisational units that apply to yourself. You can select multiple units by keeping the Ctrl key pressed while selecting a unit with the left mouse button.

This setting is only relevant for organisational users of the service. It is typically done by the organisation manager when creating your account.

Allow commercial use of location information

Enabling this option allows commercial use of your contact information by the operator or vendor.

This setting is only relevant for private (non-organisational) users of the service.
