Export Accounts (obsolete)

THERE IS NOW MORE GENERAL Exporting as CSV or Excel.

Users, managers and resources can be exported to external files.

This can be useful for example when table data is needed in external application.

 

File format selector in account exporting section.

 

To export accounts, select account(s) from the list and click the Export button. It will open a new dialog that contains file format settings. Select the settings that you wish to use and press the Select-button to download the exported table to your computer.

 

File format

Select the file format you wish to use. CSV (Comma-separated values) is a common simple table format and Microsoft Excel is excel-specific table format.

CSV file options (Next settings affect only then File format is CSV)

Separator

Here you can select the separator character used to separate values in the file.

Quote character

Defines the type for how table values are quoted. Using double quotes ( ” )- or single quotes ( ' ).

Character set

Defines the character set to be used when exporting the CSV-file.
