Managing Applications (to delete)
THIS INFORMATION IS NOW IN THE PARENT Application Settings PAGE.
Application editor dialog.
Software name
Name of the application.
Software version
Version of the application.
Software date
Date of the application.
Software package
Use Application program file hosting button to upload new file into service filesystem.
When application is uploaded successfully, it will be available in software package.
Web URL
While software packages can be uploaded into service filesystem, they can also be directly downloaded from some URL.
Use this field to specify download path for the application.
Text message
Use translated message or use custom message if application installation is made via SMS-message.
By using custom text message you can manually insert the SMS-message contents to textarea below the Text message selection.
Description
Optional description for the application.
Status
Current status of the application. Active / Inactive, where inactive cannot be used in application installations.
Valid from
Application validity starting date.
Valid to
Application validity ending date. After this time has passed, application will not be installable anymore.
Class
Select data if application is supplementary data, otherwise select application.
Options
Allowed to install by end users
Application is installable by the end user.
Can be installed programmatically ( OMA DM / WSDM )
Application is installable via OMA Device management or via WSDM.
Can be uninstalled programmatically ( OMA DM / WSDM )
Application is uninstallable via OMA Device management.
Can be hidden and revealed ( OMA DM / WSDM )
Application can be installed as hidden application. Hidden applications are not visible to device user until they are revealed.
Hidden applications are also in inactive state, which means that they are not functioning before they are revealed.
