KNOX is an enterprise mobile security solution offered by Samsung for its mobile devices. KNOX requires a compatible Samsung Android device. The basic features are free, but premium features must be purchased and activated from Samsung.

The KNOX page is divided into two sections: KNOX licences and Configuration types.

KNOX Licences

You can manage KNOX Licenses keys in the first section.

To Add new license, click on the Add button just at the button of the KNOX Licenses section, on the pop-up window (shown below), fill in the necessary parameters, Enable button to activate key, Name, license key (if known), Desirable Expiration Date, and Quantity. Click on the Apply button to save changes or Cancel button to abort action.

Click on the Edit button to edit created licences from the list (the file to edited must be left-clicked on first), make desirable changes and Apply to save or Cancel to abort action.

To delete a licence, select it from the list and click Remove.

 Configuration Types

In the second section, you can manage configuration types for KNOX containers.

To Add a new configuration type:

1. Click Add in the Configuration types section. A pop-up window opens.
2. Enter:
   
   • Name for the new onfiguration type
   • Base Configuration type from the drop-down list
   • Installed Apps (A display instruction message will be displayed in the box)
   • Apps not Installed (A display instruction message will be displayed in the box)
   • Password Requirements with all child lists (For the Password Quality, choose any suitable from the drop-down menu).
    
   
3. Click on the Apply button to save changes or Cancel button to abort action.
   

Click on the Edit button to edit created Configuration types from the list (the type to edited must be left-clicked on, first from the list), make desirable changes and Apply to save or Cancel to abort action as from step 1.

To delete a Configuration type, simply click on the desired Configuration type from the list and click the Remove button.
