Certificate Authority
This is an optional setting. A certificate authority (CA) is an entity that issues digital certificates for organizations, to be used for digital signatures and encryption, such as TLS/SSL.
A certificate authority is required in the following cases:
An in-device VPN tunnel is used
WPA2 Enterprise authentication for WiFi is used
If the organization already has a valid certificate of authority (CA), it is displayed with inclusive information on direction of usage or implementation.
Configuring Certificates
To configure or edit automatic certificates, you must first edit each respective account and device template.
You need to edit them in:
- Accounts→Templates,
- Devices→Templates, and
- Devices→Certificates.
 The menu sections are illustrated in the image below.
To remove the Certificate Authority, click on Delete this CA button at the lower part of the page (above the Certificate authority event log).
